Lighting Concept for Church Tower of Garrison Church Dresden

Temporary light art installation on the occasion of the ÖRNÖ Art Biennale

On the occasion of the 21st Dresden Art Festival ORNÖ, Ruairí O’Brien designed an artistic architectural light installation for the tower of the Garrison Church of St. Martin in Dresden.

The tower was highlighted by accentuating the edges of the building. By means of a discreet use of light – the openings of the tower were precisely accentuated with light – the imposing appearance of the building could now be experienced even in the dark, thus drawing the public’s attention to the building and the festival venue.
